Final conference of the Interreg VA project LNG Pilots
Recent discussions about achieving climate goals and reducing air pollution make it clear: in view of the increasing rise in freight traffic, the transport sector can only contribute to achieving the climate goals in the coming years if alternative fuels become accessible for freight transport.
In the INTERREG project LNG PILOTS, more than 40 partners from North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony and the Netherlands have been working on the innovative solutions over the last 4 years to accelerate the establishment of LNG / BioLNG as an alternative fuel in the German-Dutch border region.
The two-day event includes an internal meeting of the project partners and a conference as well as a matchmaking event which are open for external interested participants.
On November 20th the project partners start with an internal project meeting in the early afternoon. Later in the afternoon the event continues with a matchmaking event for the project partners and external participants.
On November 21st we would like to show you what we have achieved and we will offer a matchmaking event as day before.
The following topics are discussed:
# Analysis of location determinations of LNG filling stations
# New market concepts for technological innovations
- Gas stations
- LNG tanks
- Truck engines
- Mobile shore power (inland shipping)
- Application of biogas and bio LNG
# New concepts in the field of education and training
